Michelle Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate dedicated to promoting healing and emotional development in adults, children, and adolescents. Originally from New Jersey, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from The Ohio State University. She completed a Master’s in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2024.

Michelle has a diverse background, working with children of all ages, including migrant children and families and those with developmental disabilities. She has also served as a victim advocate for survivors of sexual assault.

Clients & Treatment Methods

Michelle specializes in supporting individual adults and adolescents who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and borderline personality disorder.

She’s trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and skilled in psychodynamic, play therapy, and strengths-based approaches. Additionally, she has experience working with unhoused women, children, and families.

Michelle believes that empathy, understanding, and a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship are crucial for client growth.

Personal Interests

In her personal time, Michelle enjoys hiking and exercising. She also enjoys trying new foods and spending time with her nephew. Michelle volunteers her time serving at local animal shelters.
